Muriel Botey

Dr. Muriel Botey holds a permanent position in the department of Physics at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya since 2003, and is member of the Nonlinear Dynamics Nonlinear Optics and Lasers (DONLL) research group. She holds a PhD from the same university and a theoretical Physics degree from the Universitat de Barcelona. Her areas of research include nanostructured materials, light-matter interactions, non-linear optics and she is presently working on beam propagation in complex modulated materials and metamaterials and spatio-temporal dynamics of modulated linear and nonlinear systems. She has co-authored over 30 ISI publications and presented her results in more than 40 international congresses.
