Daniel Navarro

Daniel Navarro Urrios (male, ORCID 0000-0001-9055-1583, www.navarrourrios.com) was born in 1978 and holds a PhD in Physics from the University of La Laguna (Spain). He is currently Profesor Agregat Interino at the University of Barcelona (UB). He has large experience in the field of integrated silicon photonics, mostly in what concerns the generation and amplification of light. He has worked in different public institutions in Spain (UB and Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) and Italy (University of Trento, INFM and CNR-Nano-Pisa). In the last years he has moved his interests towards silicon-based cavity optomechanics. He has published 82 peer-reviewed regular scientific articles, 2 book chapters and 1 book. His works have received 2211 citations and he holds an h-factor of 28.
