Juan Campos
Juan Campos received his BS-degree in Physics from Universidad de Zaragoza in 1980, and its PhD degree from the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona in 1986. He has been with Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona), Universitat de Barcelona, and since 1993 he is professor of Optics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He has worked on the assessment of the quality of optical image system, and in optical pattern recognition. At the moment his research lines are centered in diffractive optics using liquid crystal spatial light modulators, metrology of surface shapes, and polarization metrology. He has published more than 250 papers in scientific journals, 3 book chapters and presented about 300 communications to National and International conferences, has supervised or co-supervised 16 PhD thesis, and many master projects. He has been responsible for many research projects. He is Fellow member of the OSA, SPIE, and EOS, and member of SEOPTICA optical societies.
