Graduation ceremony for the Master's in Photonics "Photonics BCN" and #Europhotonics 2024–2025

Yesterday, the graduation ceremony for the Master's in Photonics "Photonics BCN" and #Europhotonics for the 2024–2025 academic year took place at #ETSETB.

The event began with a formal welcome by the director of ETSETB, Alba Pagès Zamora, followed by a speech from the head of studies, Crina Cojocaru. After a brief address, she introduced the keynote speaker of the event, Dr. Adam Vallés, a researcher in the optics group at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a former student of the master's program. His talk, titled "From Telecom Student to Quantum Optics Lecturer", offered a highly enriching perspective, both academically and personally. This was followed by the awarding of diplomas. The event continued with speeches by the students, who shared anecdotes and experiences from their time in the master's program, creating emotional and heartfelt moments among attendees. The ceremony concluded with a rendition of "Gaudeamus" inside the hall.

Finally, outside in Telecos Square, the traditional photos with family and friends were taken in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
